Crissy’s amazing card features a rollicking, rolling group of rabbits in a lovely green field. To create her scene she stamped and colored her bunnies with Copic Markers and then used No Fuss coordinating masks to mask the images and then created her background scene. I can’t wait for Spring to get here, it’s been a very cold Winter with snow and ice and I’m ready to see some flowers bloom and enjoy some warmer weather! Another thing I love to see in the Spring are rabbits, we have a family of bunnies that live near us and I love seeing the babies running around playing in the Springtime. Rabbits are perfect this time of year (and really any time of year) to include on your handmade cards, of course we use them on Easter and Spring cards but you can also include sweet fluffy bunnies on birthday, anniversary, thinking of you cards and so much more, they work on masculine and feminine card styles, they can be realistic or silly and whimsical. Elena’s adorable card uses new dies from Lawn Fawn. She’s dressed her bunny in a duck costume, placing it over layered die cut ovals with a scalloped edge. This beautiful Spring card started with a layered stenciled background with bold colors of ink pads with a layer of vellum over top, trimmed shorter to soften the pattern. Flower dies were cut and ink blended to form a bouquet and a stamped rabbit was colored with Copics and placed with a stamped and die cut sentiment over the flowers. Debbie’s darling card has a big bunny mug die cut from pink cardstocks, filled with tea and glittering sugar cubes. Her rabbit is sitting on a stamped and die cut sentiment banner and surrounded with lots of die cut Easter eggs and carrots. The checked background was stenciled and cut with a zig zig edge. Heather C.’s card is filled with sweet Strawberries and sweet bunny rabbits for a yummy birthday card. She die cut a ticket tag and stamped the cake on the top and sentiment on the bottom section, adding some small rabbits peeking out and sitting, coloring everything in with alcohol markers. How stinkin’ adorable is this peek a boo bunny card from Lisa!? She stamped a row of flowers and added a couple of rows of grass cut from kraft cardstock over top, she used foam tape on the edges to pop it up over the pattern paper panels. She stamped and colored her bunny with Copic Markers, adding him to a tied tag and tucking it into the pocket she created for a fantastic interactive idea.
