Christmas Gnome Cross Stitch Patterns – Cross-Stitch

I love this winter themed gnome from Shine Star X Stitch, which features a gnome with a tree growing out of its hat and a bird resting on a branch. I think I like it because it’s green but it’s not a harsh Christmas green, so it ties in with Christmas stuff but you can continue to display it when the holiday is over. It measures 200 by 200 stitches and uses 22 colors of floss.

Another great winter gnome is this one by Stitch by Ebi. This gnome standing in the snow measures 160 by 155 stitches and uses 26 colors. On 14 count fabric it measures 11.4 by 11.1 inches, or 29 by 28.2 cm. 

If you’re looking for something a little smaller, this set of 12 holiday gnome cross stitch patterns looks like a lot of fun. It’s from 4StitchLV and includes gnomes in lots of different hats as well as one with a gift on its head. These would be fun to stitch up as gift tags for everyone on your list. 

Another cute set of small gnome cross stitch patterns is this one from Sampler Cross Stitch. These 24 little designs stitch up in no time, ranging in size from 32 by 42 stitches to 49 by 54 stitches, depending on the design. They all use the same handful of colors, too, which is great if you want to stitch a bunch of them. 

Favorite Gnome can be counted on to have a lot of great gnome cross stitch content, and this gnome wrapped up in Christmas lights is no exception. It’s worked in 38 colors and measures 88 by 122 stitches, which comes out to about 6 by 9 inches/15.3 by 22.2 cm on 14 count fabric. 

If you’re looking for a very Santa-coded gnome, this one from X-Stitch Labb is a nice one. At 165 by 165 stitches, it uses 22 colors and comes out to 11.79 inches or 29.9 cm on 14 count fabric (sizes for other counts are included in the listing). 

I also like this candy cane gnome from Moon Lit Patterns, which also looks a bit like Santa. This one uses 23 colors and is 200 by 200 stitches, which on 14 count fabric is 14.3 inches or 36.3 cm on either side.
