Nicole used a mix of collections with lots of different patterns and colors to create this amazing Christmas layout. Along the top are stockings and ornaments hanging from string and ribbon along with tied tags tucked behind the photos. There’s lots of layers, borders and trim with some fussy cut details too. We decorate our houses, wreaths, mantles and trees with ornaments and lights for Christmas so why not use them to also decorate our Holiday scrapbook layouts? Eva made a lovely Christmas tree using strips of pattern papers and hung ornaments from the top with striped bakers twine. I love how she used the white space on the ornaments to include her journaling! There’s printed circles and wooden stars that act as even more ornaments on the tree too. Tarrah used stickers and embellishments to create the shape of a decorated Christmas tree, so clever! She used foam tape to pop them up for dimension and tucked the photo in the tree too. There’s also some lights hanging in one corner and a stitched edge. Take a closer peek at the Doodlebug blog.

Nathalie’s sweet Gingerbread layout has a plaid background and colorful striped scalloped bottom border with embellishments and the title around the photos. But the stand out are the large ornaments hanging from the top, she fussy cut them from pattern paper and double looped them with twine. Find all the details at the Simple Stories blog.

Above the 3 photos on Melissa’s layout are lots of tags tied with twine, many of which also have ornaments on them too with a camera embellishment in the center. The stenciled and splattered background and distressed paper edges adds nice texture as well. I came across her idea on her Cards by Melissa Minor Instagram page.

Paige used one of her cut files that’s Christmas lights shaped like a star to frame her wonderful layout. She backed and stitched different colors for the light bulbs adding some tiny Holly too. Morag’s awesome layout has ornament shapes made from pattern papers stitched around the edges, folded rosettes and chipboard hanging from string. The photo has clusters of embellishments and there’s a bold red sticker title too. Everything really pops on the plain white background! Shannon’s super sweet Baby’s First Christmas layout feature two large photos, one of which is actually an ornament. There’s pattern paper behind half of the page with blocks of other papers, a strip for journaling along with ornaments hanging from string that have gems added on. Scattered around are lots of classic Holiday icons like a tree, ornaments, stocking, poinsettia, gifts, Santa hat and more. I really love the pocket she created that’s overflowing with tags! Kat cut out a simple tree shape from green star pattern paper and decorated it with strands of puffy Christmas light stickers. Behind the tree are stamped words along with the strip of 3 photos matted with stripped paper, a label and more fun stamping. I spotted this at the Elle’s Studio Instagram page.

Tarrah started off with printed ornament pattern paper adding elements over top of each ornament with chipboard shapes, puffy stickers and small acrylic shapes.
