Do you remember Shrinky Dinks as a kid? I loved them, you would color, cut and shrink plastic sheets to make small charms. Well, shrink plastic is still around and used by many crafters to create their own custom charms and embellishments. Anna-Karin used them on this amazing mixed media Valentine’s Day tag project. For the tag base she heat embossed a sentiment stamp several times on the large tag, then ink blended over top using Distress Inks for a resist technique, also adding a large stamped “Hugs” sentiment. For the shrink hearts she stamped and/or applied liquid alcohol inks, glitter glue and glossy accents, to make each one unique. There are also a few stamped sentiment strips and ribbon and fibers tied to the top of the tag.
